Text Box: The patriotic painting "DetermiNation"  portrays the rescue of a battle torn American flag as it's being lifted upwards by the American eagle.  It is the creation of nationally recognized artist Linda M. Henson.  "I have watched as our nation reaches across its many cultural, social and economic barriers and as we stand united together in a way we've never seen before.  When I saw how deeply "DetermiNation" was touching people's hearts I felt a responsibility and a mission to make it obtainable by the general public, not just art collectors."  Consequently, she has produced open edition prints in four sizes. "I think that the wide appeal of this painting is based on the fact that it doesn't just represent the September 11 attack.  It's about a nation determined to unite together and to stand against any attack on our freedom.  It is about who we are as Americans. To veterans it represents the time when they fought for that freedom. To civilians it speaks of liberties not to be taken for granted."
